is area 2 the one we played this saturday when we are told not to play in zabeel?

your right eathan the area 1 is more bigger it can accomodate the 2 group but i think using nitro on that area will be a slight problem because the area is a residencial what do you think Jay ?

yup right jon.. we should inform everyone about running their nitros in the area.

Ok guys, Back from a months vacation, sad to know bout the Zabeel incident, anyway Ive met with the guys yesterday at area 2 were we played on few occasions, I think its most suitable for the drifters for now. In addition to that, theres a couple of Baladias that came to watch (they are in charge of the area) they said we can play there as long as theres no one using the parking, (Chris can give us more info on this coz he talked to the officers) which is good news coz I live near the area and I've seen this place empty on almost any occassions, except for area 1 where Ive seen some guys playing cricket at night. So if you guys are comfortable with this area, we can hold our drift runs here on saturdays.

For the Minis, I think Andy and the guys should check it out, Area 1 is bigger and more suitable for Touring although area 2 I think could also be a suitable track, and both areas are lighted at night, the important thing here is that these 2 areas are empty most of the time, there are new flats around it but I doubt they will use the parking coz they probably have their own slot inside the building.

@ Andy I brought 2 minis plus 1 for me so there will be 3 guys joining you soon!

I AGREEEEEEE, its only about 1km from the old zabeel so it houldnt be too bad for us all. plus there is no restriction.

Sorry, I have been off the radar for a bit. Had some other things to attend to.

I am cool with the Movenpick area, I was at area 2 a while back and it seems ok, we should be able to get a mini track up there.

The mid-week session we might just do down at Safa, there are a few guys that stay that way so it is quick and easy to get to after work.

@ Reck, good to have you back mate, looking forward to seeing what you have acquired...you built them yet?

i vote for area 1 as it is the biggest between both areas (for the drifters) and still have enough room to spare for a second track. :afro:

im back guys and our chances of playing at zabeel is still not getting any better.. good thing you guys talked to the officials at moven pick area so i think that will do for know.. downside is were not gonna get any new recruits out there. drifters have you tried andys safa park area?
