PostNext Al Ain trip 9 April 2010?

Right, so the excitement of Automodex is over and its time to start planning the next trip to Al Ain.

I know we had a lot of breakages at Automodex and the guys are needing to order spares online etc.....so i would suggest we aim for the 9th April, that should give everyone enough time to get their cars ready.

Let me know if you guys are happy with the date, if not please suggest alternatives! hurray

So the ST black can is 25T...?

Sam, no the Sport Tuned Motor, Or Black Can is actually a 27T motor as of now.

The GT Tuned Motor is 25T. Appearance wise, the GT is silver in colour with blue decals, it is noticeably different than a Sport Tuned or silvercan in that the brushes can be replaced. It is user serviceable.

Bandit, with the GT Mathem class you can have any FDR you want.....

With the touring car class, we will at some point impose a limit..the GT tuned Motors are pretty torquey, so you might get as high as 5.0 FDR, but with Dubai heat, it wont be long before you thermal it out...

I really want to have ONE class that produces CLOSE racing, and is fairly affordable....The Touring Class will be that one...

With Mayhem,,,,,do whatever you want... hurray

Happy Easter to all of you thankyou

For the upcoming trip, please count me in for:
- Nitro
- GT xxx (ST motor or open class, I don't have 25T).
Since 13T brushless equals to 23T brushed, is 23T brushed allowed?
- Mini with ST motor => Yes, manage to use a M03 for the weekend dance

The track has waaaay too little traction for the rwd. wacko

Got the car going straight all right.
May be it's driveable after some tuning, but don't have the time to test.
Man, its a long trip to Al Ain. When at the track, just want to driving
