To the Team,

As an observance of the Holy Week on this coming week we have decided to combine Stage 7 and Stage 8 this Friday March 30th, 2012 in YAS marina Circuit in coordination with Drift UAE. we will start the competition at exactly 8 pm in order to finish early and to have more play time. so we would advice everyone to come to the area earlier.

Please note that we will have other competition on Friday such as Bodyshell of the Night, Drift parking competition, Gymkhana and Slalom. Prizes will be given away to the winners. So get ready for evening of Fun and Drifting....

Please PM me your full name if you have participated in 6th stage of 2012 DubDrift Extreme RC Drifting championshipn in YAS marina Circuit.

Certificates will given to participants as per the organizer of Drift UAE.

A race has been planned for friday march 11

Class will be buggy and truggy both 1/8 scale

There will be an entrance fee but this has not been finialized yet

please PM me for those who are going to compete as we need to finialize a drivers list ASAP

RFID Transponders will be handed out

And pit lane will be provided

Calling everyone's attention, tomorrow, March 4, Friday, we are planning on heading out to Al Ain for a bit of crawling/trailing in the morning and touring/mini outlaw after having "mandi" for lunch. We can also squeeze in a bit of drifting.

Those interested please sign up, meeting place is area 2 at 6am. Those without transportation can hitch a ride and just share with fuel cost.

Good evening guys. Just some update. I met with the event organizer yesterday at yas circuit and got the following info.

1. As emalied to Sir Jay, they will be building a temporary drift track just outside the entrance of the north grand stand. Perspectiove drawing of track already forwarded to Sir Jay. According to the organizer and as per the drawing, they will be using solid timber as the surface or...

Hey Guys

Was talking with Ian and think it would be good to start setting up some events for early next year, the weather is great now and we need to take advantage.

What would be great is if we could setup one saturday each month (possibly the last saturday of every month) for an event of sorts - wether it be touring, minis or enduro. This way we can keep the race energy alive and all have regular races...

Timings for this saturday

Arrive and setup 14h30
Racing starts 15h30 sharp

that should give us at least 2 hours of good light for racing.......hope this works for everyone?

lets hope there not too much sand on the track after this weeks winds....

Lets go with Ed's suggested race format - 4 x 8 min heats

Motor limit: 13T
FDR Limit: no limit
