Eric mentioned to me yesterday that the owner of the hobby centre in Al Ain is possibly gonna set up a competition with prizes that day! so should be a really good day if the comp goes ahead. If it doesnt happen we can go anyway!

there will be an event called Oman Street Games which will include Autoshow and RC Drifting Sessions as well

so am inviting you gentlemen in join the event

Hey guys,

We were talking on Saturday about having an away meet at the track in Al Ain. I know we all enjoy the Movenpick area, but it would be an opportunity to get a bit of track time on a purpose built track, not only that, it might be a nice trip for families that want to get out of Dubai since the weather is so good.

Our good friend Bandit knows the people who run/manage the track so I will ask him for the details and set something up. But it would be good to plan ahead so that we can get organised...

It seems like there is another public holiday next Thursday 17th December, so just wanted to see if anyone is keen for a drift and mini mayhem session on that day?

I'm sure some people might be disappearing for Xmas holidays but for those who aren't let organize a session!

As I am sure you are all aware that we have some holidays coming for Eid and for National day, so I think it may be worth setting up some extra sessions for drifting and mini mayhem.

National day is definately the 2nd and I'm sure most will have that day off, so that will probably be a good day to set up a session.

Eid is the difficault one as I'm sure we all are going to end up with different days off.... but lets see if we can find a common day for another session.

If you guys could all post what days seem best for you, we can see if there...

since we are growing is it possible to have an official Drift Compitiion. like the others. registrations, tables. invitations certificates/tropy hehe.. we can also invite AUH for this major event.. what do you think? is it early for this?

Guys, we might have another rc show (maybe for 1 day only) . This time there will be 2 categories - electric and nitro. Venue is tba. Probability of the show is 75% sure and 25% unsure. Final details re venue and schedule will be relayed to me tomorrow. Actually this rc demo show will be part of the kick-off show for the upcoming F1 race in auh which is just days away . Most probabaly, the show will be sometime last week of this month,...

Guys, the adrenaline rc drift show is just 10 days away. As i have discussed with Altimeters, we are planning the below drift format. Any suggestions are welcome.

- Tandem drift of 4 sets of pairs / drivers for each run or let's say every 5 minutes of run.
- Each pair of driver will start 3 ~ 5 seconds ahead of the other pair to avoid collission.
- Advance pair of drifters will run ahead of the novice pair of drifters to lessen the pressure on the novice drivers (just like...

For those that don't know, Gymkhana is the Japanese version of autocross, in which drifting is a must and your main goal is efficient technical driving and car control, to allow you to navigate through the course in the quickest time possible.

One for the novice group, and another for the higher group.

Groups will be decided after the qualification round.

Novice
The novice group will perform the regular tandem battle (8 drivers total).
The 'bottom 8' drivers from the qualification round will be entered in this event.

Those, however, who have scored higher that the 'bottom 8', will be entered into the higher group.
