I built the shocks last night ...... I assembled them in sprung specs ..... but after doing a little more research .... im thinking of switching to droop set up ....

the G-transitions shocks are very well built ..... damper compression is consistent .....

and they look really cool ....

this is the stock skid plate where the links are attached too .....

i wanted some hop up parts for this one but since i'm on a budget now from the xevo project and this one .... i decided to do some custom work ...

i did a few cutting mods here and there so that I have my links in board ..... reason for which ..... so that the links wont get caught in rocks .... percentage of them getting caught when on the outside is higher ...... damaged rig .... damaged play time ....
so keep em in-board .....

the gaps i put in the skid boards is where the links will be mounted on ....

more to come ....

thanks for lookin

Hi,
You should definitley change the shocks to droop, my CR01 works much better sat low over the axles and with the GMade portal axles yours will have more than enough ground clearance even with droop.

Duane.

had decent work put in last night .......

the material used for the axles seem the business ...... it feels like it can take some real beating .....

the stainless axle cover has a very nice touch to the whole axle as well ....

assembled the transmission and mounted it on my modded skid plate ..... the cuts i made on the skid plate like i sadi will accomodate the links .... instead of havin them outside the chassis ..

this is how the modded skid plate looks after i assembled and installed the links ...... i have to say this made me pretty happy as it fit really well and the triangulation of the links had better angles ....

view from the bottom

tuber frame ....

tuber .... axles ... tranny .... links all together ......

i'll be waiting for my HB Rovers before i start installing them on the beadlock rims ....

there's just a lot of screws to beadlock that i dont wanna remove and install again ....

thanks for lookin
