The first ever... COMPLETELY different drift chassis. It doesn't, in anyway look like it's based on any other kit.
... Here we go.
The base of the chassis looks to have taken a new direction and according to reports is not like any other touring car to date.
Compact and low design with the motor and gears moved further forward than on previous Street Jam chassis.
The steering rack has been completely designed to accomodate this. Also reports are the steering angle will be about 50° out of the box .

Hi guys, Just an update for the incoming stock at Toys & Us.....I have just talk to Jay-R last week, the kabayan salesman in Toys & Us and just told me that stock orders of parts were coming by 2nd or 3rd week of this month... he just told me that spare parts for tamiya (model not mentioned) and hop ups. I'll post an update  |
There's a new hobby shop in town!
It's called "Hobby Home", most of the kits they sell are offroaders, and more than half of them are Traxxas. They have only got displays near the windows right now, the rest of the shop is almost empty, so we will find out more then. But at the moment, they have a variety of pipes and tires for the HPI Baja, and a few other HPI spares.
I know the picture quality isn't great, but please don't be ungrateful, I had to cycle a really long way to get these pictures.

Looks like it's new chassis season again...  As we reported yesterday, Japanese Hot Bodies factory driver Atsushi Hara won the TITC in Bangkok, Thailand. Along with his team mate Andy Moore, the double World Champion was using a prototype version of the new Cyclone touring car chassis and we have these exclusive photos of it. Guys, Just to let you know the branch of hobby centre in airport road is still there, its just in the building on the right of the old one - the entrance is down the second alley of the building on the right.....there are some little signs to direct you from the old shop.... but here is map to show it better..  The main parts centre in Al Quoz now (and is not accessible to the public) they recommend calling up either branch and letting them know what parts you are looking for, they... |

Everyone still 'wishes' for the new track to fall out of the sky, a gift from the RC deity and whatever other ambassador of goodwill lives there....yet no-one does ANYTHING...
Here is some food for thought......for all of you.
The previous track at the Creek was built on the behest of a hobby shop, the shop was charged AED8000 per year to operate the track, and ensure that people use it. They failed.
If 50 members, paid AED50 per month that equates to AED 30, 000 per year...

Some very sad news out of Japan today. Veteran D1 driver Atsushi Kuroi has passed away after injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Kuroi was popular not just in Japan, but in all the countries where he drove. Anyone who's seen him drive knows the kind of talent this man had behind the wheel of his Nissan One-Via. Besides being known as a great driver, he also made a name for himself with his River Side tuning shop in the Osaka area.
