Next Al Ain trip 9 April 2010?

Right, so the excitement of Automodex is over and its time to start planning the next trip to Al Ain.

I know we had a lot of breakages at Automodex and the guys are needing to order spares online etc.....so i would suggest we aim for the 9th April, that should give everyone enough time to get their cars ready.

Let me know if you guys are happy with the date, if not please suggest alternatives! hurray

We're on for Friday 9 April 2010 - 8 AM in AL AIN

Its an early start so we need to leave Area 2 by 6:30am latest

Its gonna be hot, we should do it afternoon/evening.....get there for mid-day and cool down? At least Al-Ain doesn't have the humidity as bad as here...

not a bad idea andy, lets see what the weather is like closer to the time and then make a call.....i'm sure it will be pretty hot either way.....

cant remember but is the track flood-lit? worst case an evening session?

9th sounds good to me. Afternoon session would be a lot better!

Next weekend there is an off road competition i think

Yep, the plan is to have a race there the 26-th.
Just participate if you can or have a nice day out.

Collected fee is for good purpose (e.g. waterpump to maintain the track).

Most of the time, the event is held in the morning, because afternoon is the family time in Abu Dhabi.

For coming Friday, anyone goes to Al Ain?

if riyadh was alot closer you ol see me and einstein over there :d
unfortunately they are leaving on the 4th of april for the phils. and i'll be going on may.
i'll try to enter einstein into the TAC qualifyings in manila.
