Next Al Ain trip 9 April 2010?

Right, so the excitement of Automodex is over and its time to start planning the next trip to Al Ain.

I know we had a lot of breakages at Automodex and the guys are needing to order spares online etc.....so i would suggest we aim for the 9th April, that should give everyone enough time to get their cars ready.

Let me know if you guys are happy with the date, if not please suggest alternatives! hurray

We're on for Friday 9 April 2010 - 8 AM in AL AIN

Its an early start so we need to leave Area 2 by 6:30am latest

ill go for 5.3 up is that okey? ill try but im using 13.5 and planning on GT Mayhem don't know whos joining on this class...ive tried last nite running on 4.3FDR and a little bit hot on the motor but it can finish a 5min run...don't want to gamble on this hahahaha....

yeah i think that should be fine, as most guys will be running ST with FDR of 6 so should be pretty similar in performance, if not we can always put some brickss in your car to slow you down! hahahaha

Bandit, on 5.3 FDR you will be fine to be in the Mayhem class. The touring car class is eventually going to be limited but we will use this weekend as a benchmark and test it.

The 13.5T BL should ideally get an FDR around 7 for best performance on a mid-tech track, but on the flowing circuits around 5 will give you great top speed, at the expense of getting hot and slower acceleration. I am going to enter a car in the Touring Cars with FDR around 7, with 13T motor.

.,...and of course an F1 and a mini with ST. Need to transplant this evening...

Paul, I can create a list, but I am not sure if we are going to be able to use the timing gear, I only have 6 transponders and 5 bridge sensors.....I gave all the equipment back to DEO guys after the Automodex event, it was theirs, they paid for it... smile
