PostHobby Centre update

Guys,

Just to let you know the branch of hobby centre in airport road is still there, its just in the building on the right of the old one - the entrance is down the second alley of the building on the right.....there are some little signs to direct you from the old shop.... but here is map to show it better..

The main parts centre in Al Quoz now (and is not accessible to the public) they recommend calling up either branch and letting them know what parts you are looking for, they will then get them from the warehouse (if they have it) and drop them at either store for you to collect....

Phone Numbers:

Dubai Mall - 04 330 8355

Deira Showroom - 04 294 6647

I found their new place a few weeks back. Same old shit though. Dubai Mall carries no spares what so ever, which i really cant understand!

Paul what made you visit the new show room? On a spares hunt?

What? Really? I was JUST about to hit checkout on my RCMart order (need spares)... Maybe now I'll just order the hop ups and get the spares from Hobby center...

Thanks for sharing the info Paul, much appreciated smile

abdul,

call them before you empty your cart....

andy is being sarcastic...i think i got lucky finding the spares i needed.....i would just hit that rcmart order button....make your life easier!

odds are they wont have everything you need....and you'll need to place an rcmart order anyway.... wilinili

Hmm... Talked to dad also, he said to order it online too. Unfortunately though, I could only afford to buy spares for the TA05 IFS, not for the TT01E. Even though dad said I could buy what I needed for the TT01E, I thought it's best not to spend so much.

So... Yeah, I think when the time comes, I'll check with Hobby Center first before I order the TT01E spares. Need skidplates (front and rear), suspension arms (upper, front and rear), dog bones (all 4) and some metal bearings would be nice too.

Oh, and I bought 2 new, MWAHAHA! Painting shells is soo much fun. twisted evil

yup Paul getting the part number is the best way to communicate with them.. or else they wouldnt know what the hell your talking about forum rules

do they have a lot of displays at the new shop? BTW pointing directly at the item is another way giggle

the shop is about half the size of the old one, with probably half the displays they had!

they seem to also have workshop there... very happy
