It's a device that'll 'simulate' the sound of a gas engine.

Right now, it's only compatible with SD kits.

Down side.
Effffffffing heavy.
=)

BTW.
It's japanese =P
Here's a translated explanation

Seen this before... I wasn't too impressed by the sound... It's just one gear, and it sounds like a nitro engine...

How? Look at these pictures...

From the pictures, It looks like it's a device that is connected to the propellor shaft... And yeah, it's like a mini nitro engine =P

I've heard that the person who invented this is trying to patent this... And then he will introduce it to the Japanese markets...

I'm not trying to hijack the thread... But I this would be a better alternative to that sound system...

The fourth item on this list... PL008

I remember Yokomo made one a while back... It turned out to be a FAIL.

The link I posted kinda explained itself Abdul. Hehe.

That SWP devices looks neat.
You'll need to install speakers though.

And personally, I don't like too much wire clutter.
=P

@josh, I thought so too.. hahaha!
it's either you have too get a really "torquey" motor or a smaller pinion to not damage your electronics.. maybe both. blum3

@AB, the sound quality of that SWP will depend on the speaker that you will put in it.
and it's better in terms of what?

@Lance
A 3.5t should be enough for both the kit and the device.
+D

@Jay
I wonder how they change batts with that thing on.
=P

@Richard
At least with the 'talking', one finds out their mistake(s). =)

In terms of size. It's small enough to keep on your servo.
And if it's loud enough, then you can adjust the shift, the tone, and the volume.

... And if the SWP and the massive one both don't work right... We can always get the sound system from Tamiya trucks and tractors! laughing
