I agree with you Josh... The kit is overpriced. Let's see what packages other websites have to offer though, maybe it's cheaper then...

Maybe $300 would be more respectable.

They should sell a non-bling one, the same layout, only completely plastic and the important aluminium bits. If they price that at $150, It'll definetly be AWESOME.

"A new designed drift spec chassis from Tamiya utilises TA05 bulkheads and TRF 416 uprights. The popular short reversable sus arms sets are also used. With the new design to improve balance throught the layout and better slide control. Tamiya have also improved the geometry of the steering and is great for countersteer. I believe VDF stands for "Vertical Double Frame".

$430? is it the one with the carbon damper stay and aluminum bulk heads?
if so, i think the price is still fare for about $400
after all, most of the guys upgrading all their TA05
spend at least around that range and some parts are not even
tamiya. It all comes down to preference, if you like it buy.. if not, leave it.

The pic you're looking at is the VDF after buying Tamiya Hop-up parts.
