| it is identical but this kit is release last year & tamiya is just starting to make an sneek peek for their new high end drift kit  |

Lance was right when he said you were plannin to get this kit after selling your TB03D..
by the way is it a brand new one or a second hand one??

There were about 4 versions of the same layout that came out before Tamiya decided to make theirs.

I still find it hard to believe that the previous owner only ran it for about 2-3 times.
So yeah, it is completely fresh. =)

You'll really love it! It's smmmooooothhh..
You might want to add a fair amount of weight though. It's extremely light in my opinion, and as great as that makes it in the long corners, it requires very, very little steering or you'll end up facing the wrong direction....
I'ts VERY smooth on the long ones though...!

| I'm sorry Abdul but I'll to disagree on the weights.
The motor is already positioned towards to front.
The Li-Po battery's weight is enough at the rear.
Plus the position of the electronics and battery are balanced on both the left and right of the chassis.
One thing I noticed about adding weights, is that you'll need more torque to push the kit.
But that's just my opinion.
I feel that the chassis is (near) perfect balance.
