Guys, just wondering, what kind of lipo are you using with your Mini? My lipo is too "square" to fit the battery compartment of my mini. Did you modify anything so that it can fit in the lipo? or is there any "mini" specific lipo available? Thanks!

we usually use round/oval type lipo batts...square one will not fit obviously....

even the square one will not fit m05?

The 3200's are a miniscule amount smaller and go in easier than the 3600's. Sometime having the battery in a little tighter is better....less chance of it shifting around...

Whatever you do, dont be tempted to cut the chassis to get a square one in, it is possible you will weaken the chassis....

Actually, I was on the verge of cutting down the chassis last night. So, 3200 is the best fit? I'll try to check the LHS if they one..

just to let you know I just went passed hobby zone on the way back from a meeting, he outta stock of the 3600 oval pack and only has 5000mah square lipos at the moment.....

.. So i guess I'll be racing with my old Nimh packs for the moment.. Thank you Paul for the heads up!
