I heard there's a touring track in Rashidiya. . . as what some locals who came in area 2 said last saturday. . . . IS THIS TRUE?

Not sure about that track in Rashidiya, I think Duane might have got some details from them. I was trying to get the mini racing finished before the sun went down.....so never go a chance to talk with them....

I did ask them to sign up ad Dubdrift though....if they want to keep abreast of all that is going on...

If there is a track i doubt its much, may be just a piece of tarmac that some of them go racing on

i heard it's on some football field. . . . but i'm not sure. . . .

i talk to the local guy the other day in area2. its an indoor track that we have to rent for about 3 hours.

what the scenario is, we will build the track indoor then after using it, disassemble it again. i think its an indoor football court. big enough for the drifters and minis

Then its no better than what we have now.. area2 is rent free
If it was a fixed track with all the works.. then an entry fee would be worth it.

BTW how much are we talking about here?

If its a five a side football pitch then its way bigger than Area 2.

If they give you a space to store the equipment, there is electric and the rent isnt too much then it could be a good step to holding more events like Automodex.

All you need is some old rope or fireman's hose and you can make a pretty decent temporary track

we shoud do carpet racing then...just get a roller to roll 2m wide strips of carpet onto, and tape it together.....

Can someone confirm that it's football field? And are you guys sure it's indoors? I know about the outdoor ones, there is one covered in sand, and I used to bash my nitro buggy there before, and there are a few others. But if memory serves, there aren't any indoor ones.

So yeah... Can someone knows more about it, post it on here.
