I will post a new thread also on my future kit and i dont want YOU posting nonsense or else... |
You're one to talk. Anyway guys, if one has a query, I think it's just right for just one person to reply. I'm deleting all the bullcrap everyone posted and editing others. -----Will delete part this tomorrow evening-----
Ahh...the TC-X. Saw this on PRCD and I liked it. Good choice sir Jon. =) |
Hi josh ........ i dont think my posts in this thread were bull crap ..... you could clearly see in my posts that i was simply trying to point out that we should be positive on the thoughts of others .....
pointing out how to do everything to everyone in this forum is just plain irritating ...... and i was clearly stating the obvious ...... i dont think i violated any of the forum rules as posted ......
this is where the freedom of speech comes in ..... if abdul is allowed to be a know it all in all the threads in this forum then the others should be allowed to have their own personal insights as well ....
i respect everyone here ...... you yourself as a moderator ...... however ...... having the power to delete posts should be done in a productive manner ......
correct me if i am wrong but the other members here in our simple community is starting to feel that you are being a little bit over protective with our young friend here .....
this is the internet ...... a place to learn ..... a place to be educated ...... i believe everyone has tried their best to be civil at one point .... but it will all boil down to losing patience if the same thing happens again and again ......
i dont know everything and the more am i not correct all the time ....... but as a moderator ...... try to consider looking at both sides of the story before coming to a conclusion .......
this is my advice to you as an older brother ...... i know your intelligent and have good values ..... but lets not let other people take advantage of your good nature ..... |

| If given the option between the TC-D and this TC-X. Since I'm the drifting kinda guy, I'd definitely go for the TC-D. But if I had to choose between my TA05 and the TC-X. The TC-X might win my heart. I fell inlove with the LiPo battery layout. This will better balance the kit, so no need for additional weights. Point taken. But please do not think I'm taking sides. Sorry for the word 'bullcrap'. Ian's post was just full of it. I deleted your post because it was unrelated to the topic.
Tell me sir Allen. What was Abdul doing wrong in this thread? Abdul, just wanted to point out that a similar post about the kit was in the forum. (I don't think he was trying to steal the show) But, somehow, some took it the wrong way and was bombarding him with OT posts (Not related to this topic). One answer would have been enough.
With due respect to everyone. I am looking at both sides. Would you rather I join Abdul's side and start a commotion? Or would you rather I join the other side who's been labeling people?
Yes, this is a forum. So let everyone speak, as long as it's related to this topic. Some may agree to a opinion, some may not. Just as long it's concerning the topic. I don't see anything wrong. What I do find wrong is bringing unrelated topic into a scene just because one didn't like the other's opinion.
Guys, I know some of you have stamped a negative image of Abdul in your heads. It's because of that image that makes his opinion look bad to you. But lets remove that and start with something fresh. Yes, he's young. But just because he's young doesn't mean he can bring a new idea into the scene.
And as for you Abdul. We've talked in our PMs. I've told you and explained how you can improve on your negatives. So let's try to keep aiming for the best.
Now about me being Moderator. If any of you feel I should be removed of the powers given to me. Please have a vote, and if I do get 'demoted', I'll have no hard feelings.
----------------- @Sir Allen I'll be deleting our posts tomorrow evening too. Just to give enough time for others to read and react. After that, it's back to Sir Jon's topic. =) _________________ KIT: Tamiya TA05-3R ELECTRONICS: Novak GTB V.2, Novak Ballistic 3.5T, Futaba 3PM 2.4Ghz FASST Tx, Futaba R603FF FASST Rx, Yeah Racing SVP-0010MG SHELL: Tamiya Evo VI, Tamiya Evo X, HPI 350Z

| Does it really have to be like Clash of the Titans every time?
If only everyone would follow the rules and just be in the right mind in replying to a post or making a new one. If it will not make any difference or if it is somehow not helpful or productive, keep it to yourself.
I know it's difficult when we write sentences or paragraphs. It's open to the reader's interpretation and the emotion that comes with the statement varies from a reader to another. That's the downside of reading a letter or a text message. It does not have complete emotions. This is when impressions are important. They set the reader on how to read the statement based on how he think the writer would say it in words.
I hope I'm making sense here.
@josh, deleting or editing posts in this early stage is not the solution to this problem. Some readers may not understand why or how this "dream kit" turned out to be a nightmare. I know Abdul has been sending you PMs. I don't want to know what their contents are but i have some ideas of what they contain. And I'm a bit sad that you did what you have done. It's like saying that those replies you deleted or edited were wrong. Yes they were off-topic, but they were not irrelevant.
It may seem as if at times we are ganging up on him but that is how we feel about his posts or replies - Offensive. He's arrogant and has no manners. "Knocking-off" (copying) from other sites and taking them as his own. Even putting a disclaimer on it that he will not be held liable for whatever consequences that may happen with "his" tutorials? Copying from other sites and pasting it here is OK but you have to have respect to the original person whom he'd copied it from.
I don't usually visit other forums to get infos. I use Google. If it takes me to a Forum, I'll provide a link to that forum. Respect.
We are all losing the esteem in posting relevant and helpful topics. You put up a post and someone will say "oh yeah, I've seen that one loooong before."
Have you noticed that there are very less informative topics in the "Latest Topics" board?
@Abdul, you are still young and have a lot to learn about life. We are not asking you to respect us. Just don't be disrespectful. I know you're a registered member in most RC sites all over the world that's why you know a lot of things about RCs and you are always updated with what is going on elsewhere in the world. We appreciate that you share these things with us. It's just the manner of how you present them. Stop talking too much and learn to listen more. You'll have more time to talk when you grow older and have people listening to you.
I hope none of these will ever happen again. It's oh so tiring. _________________ "CS or Die!" |

| @Ian I'm not looking for anything.
@Lance Yeah, it's quite tiring. I seriously didn't find anything wrong with Abdul's queries. But anyway, let's just try to stick to the topic.
I apologize to everyone for deleteing/edting posts. I just saw a pool of clutter that had nothing to do with the topic. Sir Lance, I'll leave it up to you to delete my posts. _________________ KIT: Tamiya TA05-3R ELECTRONICS: Novak GTB V.2, Novak Ballistic 3.5T, Futaba 3PM 2.4Ghz FASST Tx, Futaba R603FF FASST Rx, Yeah Racing SVP-0010MG SHELL: Tamiya Evo VI, Tamiya Evo X, HPI 350Z
