| installed the ESC and Spektrum Rx ...... started to lay-out the wirings just to see if everythings in place with the battery box .... i changed the front springs to the tamiya shord mediums ..... the long ones were giving me positive camber ..... the short ones had better angle but gave me extra droop when the car is off the surface ..... i also put in spacers in the TRF shocks in the front and the rear to have my shock length at 55-56mm .... now i have the ride height set at around 6mm off the ground .... which i believe is just perfect ... hopefully i get my low profile servo by this week and its off to the track for some test runs .... |

| the gears are open ....... you can put some lexan plastic to protect it but i don't see the issue with it being open .....
i think its not that big of a deal ....
once the build is done .... i'll give it a run and give my insights .....
folks from rc-mini.net seem to have no complains with the open gears as well .....
anyways ..... we'll find out |

hi joe ...... im gonna run it like how a mini should be run ..... open the throttle and let er rip .....
its running a 13T 3000kv yeah racing BL combo ..... on a 23T pinion .....
the XEVO can accomodate pinions up til 25T ..... a regular M-chassis can go up til 20T only .... |

Is the internal gear ratio the same as a normal mini? Do you know what your FDR is? I'm expecting this to be rather quick...... and if you are lucky, it may also go around corners, which will be a nice bonus.
Edit... Now that I look closer, are those the original M03 / M05 gears? If yes then I just answered my own question. |

| Hi, Any updates ? has it been out yet ?
I would also like to say thanks for taking the time to take and post all the pictures, I know some of them are a little blurred but otherwise there are some very good photographs.

| Hi I just got back last night so will start this week and hopefully have something running by next weekend.
Looks like mayhem is going to be slippery enough this week anyway without the extra power.

| low profile servo is installed ...... all i can say with the xevo is that it is glued to the ground ...... i used the stock tamiya tires just so i can see how it will handle from the tires i have least traction from .... and i was using a 13T year racing BL system ...... which runs more like a Tamiya ST motor from what i can see .... and to my surprise it still handles very well ....... this is out of the box stock and i have not added any weights or adjusted any suspension settings yet ..... xevo is a thumbs up ....... |
