It's a Tamiya, don't think they ever sold the shell only.

Yeah its the tamiya, it is VERY detailed and the 'silverware' bumper you get with it is awesome....I have one I got in Abu Dhabi a few years ago, M04. I built it up for the missus to drive and I screwed the body up when I was cutting the lexan....one slip and ..DAMN! I will chop the venders off it an do something with it for the FunCup! smile

Hopefully the M06 is here by then, and I can then get down to some serious mini action....with a bigger pinion in the M06.

Hi,
If anyone wants the beetle shell and a new M03 mini, the M04 is basically M03 parts screwed onto a different box chassis. You can buy the M03 chassis parts for 8 dollars and just bolt all the M04 parts on to get a beetle shell and a brand new m03.
