went to creek park for a closer look today. . . . . man, the place is awesome enough for both crawlers and scalers

Unfortunatly there wont be any rock bashing for me this week as im in bahrain,

but if we can maybe postpone it to the week after the enduro so that we can try to get more people in and inform others around Dubai, Al Ain, AUH, Etc so we can get more people out there, its no fun to crawl with just 2 - 3 rigs out on the feild........plus i gives us and everyone else better time to prepare for it

Going to take the kids and have a look tomorrow morning. My neighbour was there Tuesday morning and when he left two people had a fight over his parking spot. Sounds like a fella got out of a car to guide his wife in, but some other fella just drove right in actually pushing the first fella out of the way with the front of his car.

I wont take a car, I need to fabricate some new suspension mounts for the CR01 for the fifth revision of the rear suspension set up. The CC-01 isnt too far off a rolling chassis I will stick up a picture in one of the other scale threads tomorrow.

I took the kids today, just for a look around. It looks pretty good for both scalers and crawlers with a nice range of surfaces from sand, rock and lots of different grades of gravel. The park doesn't get busy until after prayers. I would suggest that if you take a rig, put it in a bag, given what happened at zabeel we don't want anyone to realize that six guys just turned up with large rc trucks.

The desert garden is pretty quiet and the park staff seem to like to stay in their buggies so once you are in the rocks you should be fine. Nearest parking is gate 4, the desert garden is then just to the left of gate 4. I wil aim to have a truck ready for a trail next Friday morning.

i don't think they're gonna throw us out if we play there. . . it's supposed to be a park, people play cricket, football, bring bicycles even and have barbecues as long as it's not pork, and more or less do whatever they want just as long as it's not destroying the park, , and we pay 5dhs for entrance,
The best time to go there is early morning. . . . you'll get a good parking spot.

And the actual area is quite isolated, not so many people go there, because its just a rock garden, unless they want to take snaps. . . people usually go to the grass area, where they can have their picnics.


There where a group of guys before who played there, They had HPI Willy Kings, they even posted a video of their trailing in youtube. check this out:

I think we were thrown out from zabeel because we were playing at the parking lot. . .
I think this place is legal for us to play. . . . but that's just my opinion. . .
