Mini & Touring Weekenders

Hey all,

Paul and I were discussing a thread where we can keep an eye on who is going to Meydan for some touring/mini action, and when. This is not event organising, but rather just to see who can meet up. It is always nice to know who is around for a bit of racing action whether it is formal or informal. We met up tody with Ahmed and had a blast, especially with the FF03's. Close rcing and with a 5000mah battery, you can run as long as a mini.

To kick things off, I suggest a small event next weekend, 5th March.
GT touring - 2 heats of 6mins, Final of 8mins
FF03's 2 heats of 6 mins, Final 10 mins
Mini 2 heats 10 min, Final 10 mins

The above format will work if there are at least 6 tourers, 4 FF03's and as many minis as allowed.
I think 2 heats per class and a final should make for a decent day, but as always, I am open to suggestions. The weather is going to get crappy soon, so we should get involved while we can.

I'm in for next weekend!

Today was good fun out at the track, it turned into a bit of a tuning session, trading tips and tricks and naturally some fun on the track!

I would encourage the guys who havent been out in a while to dust your kits of and come for some good raving fun! The weather is great so time to advantage.

6 mins per heat or run

they will run in 6 mins that means its 1 heat

they are using a gadget called "transponder" to count their laps in 6 mins

if they said 2 heats they will run 2X6 mins per heat, there's a break after each heat

Guys,

As there are not enough entries for timed sessions, we will just have open sessions...I will be down there about 2pm and please could some of you bring some 'traction compund', I still reckon it is very good for grip.
