PostSubject: Ace RC Veloci RS Speed Control    Thu Apr 28, 2011 1:06 pm

Hi Experts!

I have a kit from Thunder Tiger Sparrowhawk VX drift kit, the speed control is Ace RC Veloci RS currently using a 7.4V 2000mA NiMH. Is it possible to use the 7.4V 5000mA lipo?

Regards,

Aris

you have to check the specs of the ESC if its lipo comp very happy

you can also use that lipo to your kit but it will damage the lipo if the power is drained

i think the amp doesen't matter. . . . only the voltage. . . . the more amp. . the longer playtime. . . 2thumbsup but your esc has to have a Lipo- Low voltage cut-off which i think it doesn't have
this feature lengthens your lipo's life. It prevents it from dropping voltage to lower than 6v very happy

see specs:

you can get a NOVAK SMART STOP lipo cut off, or just get a lowvoltage buzzer

Thank for your replies. I checked the specification but I think it is not compatible with lipo there is no cut-off voltage feature. Someone sells the lipo smart stop in the forum, I don't know if it is still available. Where can I buy this thing? I need 2 pcs of this for me and my brother.
