PostSubject: newbie need some advice   Tue Sep 06, 2011 12:25 am

hi to all!

i'm new in building an rc drift car. i just want to ask which is better chassis kit is it the tamiya tt-01r or the tamiya tt-01r type e?and what is the best motor, esc, servo, and controller for drifting in a reasonable price but powerful build. and if they have the same upgrade hop ups. and where can i buy the chassis kit and some upgrade parts.

i have this build in mind where i found in internet but i dont know were to buy.

tamiya tt-01r chassis kit
shockwave motor and speed passion esc combo
hitec digital torque servo hs-6635hb
spektrum dx35 controller 2.4ghz 2 channel
speedpower 5300mah 7.4v batteryand some hop ups from yeah racing, 3racing, and eracing.

thank you and hoping for helpful response!

Welcome to the forum.. for your queries regarding tamiya kits I would suggest you visit Toys & Us

I never really had a tt01e but I did have the regular tt01 kit before as my 1st kit and I would say its a good starting kit that you can practice your drifts with. Just a few setup changes and it will drift side by side with a VDF very happy

hi. . .

i would suggest getting this over the tt01

a lot of aftermarket hop-up parts and blings for this kit. . . .

and the performance can't compare with the TT01 2thumbsup

and the price: 163$
