| No more extensive tuning, police chases and underground flair on this one! For pc gamers, if you want to test the demo this weekend here is your chance: download HERE Full Overview of the game and developers read :HERE First impression of the full version game on xbox read HERE checkout the cockpit, nice!!! would really recommend a good steering wheel to appreciate sim racing _________________ |

| i bought this alreadt and i spent a few hours on it, first impressions:
steering has some weight but a little on the lazy side, still good each car has different characteristics in terms of driving behaviour suspension response is unbeleivable, the car (that i drove = M3) responds to being run over bumps and rumblers camer work is amazing....vision gets blurry when you speed, crash or brake hard to simulate G-force on your eyes.
results: BUY IT.....ITS WORTH EVERY FILS |

| i hope they did not over do the depth of field and motion blur department based on the reviews cars handling has a lot of understeers.. hope they make a fix patch for this one soon. _________________ |

| this you are correct sir jay, when you get into some high speeds, the camera gets blury making it a little harder for us to maintain a good line on straights and corners, but what i didnt like was that the driving feeling became even lazier in high speeds, my freinds had to slow down to see where they were going....not good for positioning during a race. undsersteer does get a little severe btu we will get used to that by usung the scandanavian drift manuever- swinging the car in the opposite direction before entering the corner but sadly this incurs a loss in speed..... |

| drifting and touring dont mix.. you drift in touring you lose. you have to break before entering corners need a more powerful machine on this one.. game freezes during race _________________ |

| i was talkin in drifting terms jay,
in order to maintain position in touring given the blurry camera, i had to options:
guess where the best line was and hope u dont crash (didnt work so well)
slow down enough to be able to see the best line then speed up as fast as you can, and use drafting to keep good speed |

| ok.. so anyway guys this is what it says in the review.. "Still, if you´re enjoy driving games and pretty graphics, Need for Speed Shift is a worthwhile diversion from using simulations all day – Just don’t expect it to be one…it isn’t." "i cant BELIEVE people are even CONSIDERING nfs shift to be remotely simulation like, or that ‘the lines are blurred’ you must be joking, it is far. FAR from a simulator. You cannot drive the cars like you can in a simulator. " so there you have it.. i think ill wait for simbins RACEON mid october _________________ |

| Nice.... How many years did it take for EA Games to reach Codemasters' graphics and gameplay?
But I'll surely give this a try once I get my PC back in my hands. +P |
