So the kits finally arrived and are built and complete, so just wanted to share the end result!

The Abarth 500 (aka "the shadow") even had its first run at the Mini Mayhem on the weekend!

acccording to the Tamiya-buffs...there are 100 decals to apply to the BMW, rather you than me :-)

Trust 6 hours of pain application of those 100 plus decals.....dont plan on doing that again in a hurry! :drunken:

very very nice job on those shells, especially the studie. Did the shadow survive her maiden outing without a scratch? Hope to see the studie slide this friday!

@J, its gonna be difficault to convince people its not an XB....

@bong, the shadow took a couple of roll last saturday, with only some minorr war wounds, but i am sure she is not gonna stay looking like that for long! hehehe

@ahmad and bong, Definately keen to get the Studie sliding, but need to get another set of drift tires, the ones I bought from RCMart are too soft and the car just keeps bouncing all over the place.....will see if I can beg, borrow or steal a set for this saturday!

I think we all need to consider getting mini bodyshells with light buckets....we could really use them when the sun sets...

The Shadow - take a look at her now, admire here......because in a few weeks, she will be a Shadow of her former self......not intentionally you understand....

In order to make a tasty omelette, you need to break some egg/body shells.
