Not that I want to put you down or anything, but that cash you are about to use from the Sprint2 might be better spent on the TT01.

Definitely.....
He already has electronics....so why buy another set of entry level items.


But he did state that he wanted to share the hobby with his dad.
So the Sprint2 isn't really a bad buy.


Personally, I would aim for something better....even if it means buying 2nd items.
(Which are in mint condition)
