Chardiboi...WOAHHHHHHHHHHH...you serious?! Christmas is coming earlier than I expected!
I wanted one of those sooo bad! How do you have EXTRA shafts? blum3
Altimeters, I'd practice, but my battery only charges up completely when left charging for a year.
If only I knew that nimh's failed so epicly I'd have bought some lipos when my dad went onto an Ebay shopping spree....So much remorse!
Chardiboi, you don't happen to have "extra" lipos or "extra" nimhs?

Nimh batteries dont 'fail' epicly...you need to take care when charging them, make sure they charge at the correct rate and ALWAYS use a delta peak charger, that way they last for a long time...

And take heed, there is no such thing as a 'free lunch', everything you ever want/wish for will come at a price. And if you get something given to you by someone generous, karma dictates that you repay that generosity..

Cathurga, I wasn't serious.
Nimh batteries don't fail epicly. Mine does. It didn't come with a fancy charger, just plug and wait. I don't like "free lunches". I planned to say, "no thanks mate, I'd rahter buy it from you". I honestly enjoy working for my lunch, if you get it the easy way it's not fun. I had been working for my kit 1 year before I got it.
I apreciate advice, so thank you.
Since you seem to know RC cars, can you PM me some cheap yet effective mods I could get for my tt01E? I've only got like 260 dirhams right now, and I'll be ordering through JJ.

Abdul,

Take Cathurga's advice, a good charger will drastically improve the performance and lifespan of the battery (provided that you charge them correctly)

I originally used a cheapo wall charger which would probably only give a run time of about 10-15 min on a 4200mah NiMH battery, and now on a proper peak charger i am getting run times of at least double that.....

rather spend your money on getting right essential items so you can start enjoying the hobby and building your drifting skills! having mods is great but if your car will only run for 5-10 minutes cause you got a lousy charger you will get very frustrated and annoyed with the hobby!

Got any good links to one of those peak chargers? And what exactly does it do? Just charge it to it's peak?

Abdul,

My advice would be buy a charger that can charge all kinds of batteries Nimh, NiCD, Lipo, LiFe etc, in the long run it will be your best bet....these also can cycle batteries and discharge them.
These types of chargers are generally computer controlled and internally determine the best way to charge your particular battery....

Here are a couple, there are plenty out there and everyone will give you different advice on which to choose....so here are some of the ones i prefer.... guys feel free to suggest others for Abdul...

DuraTrax IntelliPeak ICE DC Competition Charger

Dynamite Passport Ultra Lipo/Life/Pb/Li-Ion AC/DC Battery Charger/Cycler (6S/8A)

Hyperion EOS 0720i-Net3 Li/NiMH/A123 Balancing Charger (7S/20A/250W)

In terms of basic peak chargers Traxxas make a good cheapish one (Nimh only)
Traxxas EZ Peak]
