Don't worry about that Paul, Physics is hard wired into my top floor. I only am rubish at Chemistry, and that's already done. And done pretty well. I've got an off on Sunday, so I've Thursday, Friday, some time on Saturday, and the WHOLE day on Sunday

we just need to take the coefficient of friction for both tires and asphalt.
now, since we know how fast the wheels rotate with the RPM and gear calculations and wheel circumference, and the mass of the car is contant, we can calculate the angle of the car while it is drifting and derive how much counter-steer is needed to not spin out..

assume: coefficient of drag = 0

ok? practical application of the theory on saturday.

Hey All,

Just a little update, although as of yet I have not been granted the holiday.

Could we have a show of hands who will be around for some GT & Mini action. It looks to me like all the drifters are in for an early start. Personally I would prefer to run in the afternoon but it depends on the what the War Office (girlfriend) has to say. Having said that, we always seem to run out of time in the afternoons, due to bad light....any GT & Mini peeps wanna try and get in for a morning sesh? And none of this 07h30 stuff....I am old, and need all the beauty sleep I can get. :-)

10am maybe? That way, the drifters can get a bit of GT in after the slideways action! .......aaaand, if Richard is down there, I might get the CR-01 out on the impromptu crawler course... and show Rich how NOT to do it.

I will post a list as I did for last week.....you have to say AAAAII! if you are keen.

You are right the holiday now falls on friday, just saw it in the paper (cant plan anything here).......saying that I have spoken to a few people and it seems some companies are still giving employees thursday off as that was the expected date and people have made plans to go away etc.....

Anyway lets see who will be the lucky ones to get the day off....

im afraid i cant come this thursdays session.. the office is moving our holiday on sunday..
so reck and i would be working whole day while you guys have fun.
