ahhh... i painted it outside to make a matte effect, apparently the paint eat through the protective sheet. no worries, its for bashing only

@Ian try to find some Acetone and clean clothe or cotton apply a small amount and rub it on the part that has paint.

If you do want a matte look, then take protective sheet off (if you haven't already), and get some sandpaper, make sure it's too good, and then gently rub it on whatever you want matte. Just to make sure it'll work, rub it on a chunk of lexan that you took off while cutting the shell.
