Hey All,

Decided to combine the Mini & GT Mayhem threads, will leave the other ones as is. I would like this to be the place where we can see who is available to run on the normal Saturday sessions. Obviously it is just fun racing, but setting up an event with the laptiming gear allows us to 'compete'. Maybe in time we can have a monthly performance report....
So all that will be posted here, is the Saturday Race Format, and replies from everyone who can make it. It is a bit last minute this time, but in future I will update in the middle of the week, for the following Sat...

This week 30th JAN 2010, the proposed format is:
Practice - 3:30 PM sharp - 20 mins of practice session.

What time do you want to start the racing tomorrow, may be worth trying to get everyone there for 3pm with race 1 starting at 3:30pm.

That would gives us an hour and half of good light....

Keen to do some GT this afternoon but the rain might spoil our fun later (let's hope not)..

Yeah, I think the rain could destroy our fun today. It is ok now but there was a large puddle last time near where the bridge goes and even though Eric and I managed to squeegee all the water away, it never dried properly and the hassle there is that the tape wont stick to the ground......I cannot get down there any earlier....

but maybe i have enough time to set-up my drifter as a tourer.. just have to lower the throttle like J and Jon does..

Lance, how did you destroy the speedie? Did you short it out? Yep, bring along some GT tires and have a go, just a fun session today .....

Todays session was fun, lots of mini's on the track today, and we were missing Martin. Dxbdude has also got some building ahead of him so hopefully we will see him in the coming weeks.

Next Saturday is Boxing day and I have Family in town so will not be down there at all. The following Saturday is New Years Day, and myself and my expected hangover will probably not make it down then either! So it looks like the first week of Jan!

There was talk on the Al-Ain track thread about going up there on the 8th, and although it sounds like a good plan, perhaps we should all meet at the normal place on the 8th, and while we are all there, have a discussion on how we are going to go about arranging a trip, and do it the following week? Just a suggestion, but until then, those that are celebrating Xmas, have merry time and all the best for 2010.
