Hi guys, appreciate if anyone could help me in ordering required spares for my HPI Sprint 2 and Mini M03M.

I was ordering the belts for my Sprint and thought of seeking advice on other parts for the mini, especially the wheels as i have only the stock one at the moment.

Would be great if i have the link from Amain hobbies as they have the belts there. clown

@dxbdude,

You will see the stock mini tyres are rubbish and will probably only last you 5-6 sessions...you'll see when they are gone as your handling will become totally unpredictable.....hahaha i speak from experience here....hahahaha

In terms of tyres for the minis, most the guys are using THESE. They have excellent grip but unfortunately have been out of stock from RCMart for some time....may be worth searching the net to see if you can find the elsewhere....as for the wheels you can really go anything you like...

Dxbdude,

AMain is difficault they really dont stock any tyres or rims for the minis, they really specialize in offroad and a bit of touring....

You'll probably need to order tyres and wheels elsewhere....the rides tyres are definately the right choice but if you cant find them then try the Tamiya M-chassis Super Slicks (they are better than the stock ones but not as good as the rides) - they should be availible at RCMart or Towerhobbies.

Rims honestly doesnt matter much, i tend to just stick to the tamiya ones....

dxbdude, as mentioned, amain is not the best for mini stuff.

Gerg got some alternative to the ride tires, I think they were either Cross or Spice tires...will have to ask him, but they seemed to be doing a pretty good job last time he had them out.

With mini's I would suggest buying low cost rims, as all the tires need to be glued on and you will eventually throw them away.. I normally buy the el cheapo rims from rcmart, US$5 for 8 rims and the RIDE tires..

For HPI stuff it might be worthwhile looking for the local suppliers, seems like some of the hobby shops are getting quite a bit of HPI stock in...
