Next Race Day in Al Ain?

Guys

Sound like everyone had a great time and looks like we are all keen to go again!

I think it would be good if we start planning the next race day in Al Ain.

To start off I have set up a Poll below to see which weekend in February suits everyone best.

Start checking your diaries shocked

and lets try set a date ASAP so we can get as many people as possible involved!

Heres the lists of guys who have committed so far (or have acknowledged their addiction!!!)

Classes are:

Mini Stock
GT Mayhem (Sport Tuned or GT tuned or Hobby wing 13T max)
GT Outlaw (Anything goes)

Afterwards we can do a fun ....

You guys have to decide....I dont believe there is any real 'regulatory' authority on motors and classes. Most often people take the brushless T, and X by 2 to get brushed....but this is not always accurate. So
9T BL = 18T brushless (STOCK MOTOR, not the same as kit motor)
13.5T BL = 27T brushless (STOCK MOTOR, not the same as kit motor)

but this is not always accurate....normally you would have to factor in the KV.

We can run
GT Outlaw - No limit
GT Mayhem - Sport Tuned or GT tuned
Mini Mayhem - Kit RS540 motor

I will race all of them, but my 'racing' will be saved for the Mayhem events....cos that's where the fun is at!!

I think that about covers it, so, racers....prepare your rides!!!

i really wish i cud attend all the meets..cant commit in advance though...

But guys, am so addicted to see nitro cars flying all over..maybe soon ill get a nitro and make use of the beautiful track while we are there...

I'm happy with the classes laid out by Andy!

Hopefully i can get something ready for Outlaw class by then, otherwise I'm mayhem all the way!!!!

I'm a bit late joining this thread, but I'm a firm believer that an unlimited outlaw class is necessary in order to allow an outlet for those who want to go FAST....... and also to show what these kit are capable of. There will always be some of us who have the funds and desire (but maybe not the skills very happy

) to push as hard as we can.

The three classes look right to me.
- 'Mini-Mayhem' with silver can (some of the mini kits come with silver can so makes sense to keep it simple for newbies.
- 'GT-Mayhem' with sport tuned (I could be wrong, but I think some of the GT kits come with ST?)
- 'GT Complete Madness' with anything goes........

I'll be signing up for the mini-mayhem and complete madness classes I thinks.

Oh by the way, it looks like I am a non-starter for this weekend, the missus is here so I will need to spend some time with her.....or else I am going to be trawling the singles bars again....wait a minute....a day of racing in Al-Ain, followe by a night of chasing skirt at the Barasti bar.....hmmmmm
