Next Race Day in Al Ain?

Guys

Sound like everyone had a great time and looks like we are all keen to go again!

I think it would be good if we start planning the next race day in Al Ain.

To start off I have set up a Poll below to see which weekend in February suits everyone best.

Start checking your diaries shocked

and lets try set a date ASAP so we can get as many people as possible involved!

Heres the lists of guys who have committed so far (or have acknowledged their addiction!!!)

Classes are:

Mini Stock
GT Mayhem (Sport Tuned or GT tuned or Hobby wing 13T max)
GT Outlaw (Anything goes)

Afterwards we can do a fun ....

like i said there a small chance that i might get out of istanbul early, and if i do then i'm up for stock mini, gt mayhem, gt outlaw(if we running it) and i'll go mini for the grudge match!

Aaah, so far it looks like 6GT and 5 Mini's for the REVENGE Match....and there are enough people for all the other disciplines to make a nice race day ...woooohoooo.

I am going to try and create a Race Agenda on the software, but it will ONLY be for the set classes...the REVENGE match will just be a fun outing....no timing...ok?

Please BONG, let us know what class you would like to be in.

We need a fun event like the drifters had, organised, efficient. After an hour of organised racing, we can all go into the mad-fun.
I would like to make this possible because the Automodex guys are going to need to have a way to arrange the racing PROPERLY in order to have a successful event, we know the drift comps run well, we need the same setup for the on-road racing too....

If you guys are going down early i may come and meet you all for a while, but i will have to shoot of before lunch to start with the move.

Would it be possible to meet up somewhere on the way as i have no idea where the track is in Al Ain? I see some of you are meeting at Area 2. I have no idea where this is though as i hardly head that side of town and i will be traveling from JLT.

Might want to check with Paul, I think he lives down that way....bear in mind it is a hours drive, so you will only get an our there before you have to head back....

tractorboy, i'm on your side of town, if i manage to get back on time for the trip to al ain, youre more than welcome to follow me, if not i'll definately back in time for the saturday session at area 2 and i can show you where we meet.

please dont fire me! hahaha........trust me id rather be back in dubai and heading to al ain, its been snowing here and its damn cold around -4 with wind chill of -14 right now.....enough of this weather and hotels im ready to come home!!!! :sunny:
