i think they're still going to light the area. its dark to use the track with that much light.
no left the lights out.....at this rate i probably should have put them in! hahahaha
Ian i was there last night and they have set up 2 towers with flood lights on....but as you can see in the pictures that is all the light they give....Andy and jay and eric where going to have a word with the guys in getting more lights up!

as per last nights discussion with robert they will be putting up another tower on the side so i think it would be enough.

entrance is free except for the racers participating the race, with regards to parking they said you can park anywhere lol

Paul, they moved the two towers closer, then each tower has a total of 8 floodlights for the track and two for the drift track plus they said theywill add another tower on the other side of the drift track, seems it will be bright enough.
They did get some more lights up, and there was an improvement before I left. There was still one more bank of lights going up.
It is clear the lights are makeshift and not stadium lights but I think it will be fine. You will need to let your eyes adjust to the lighting and it is ok......the faster cars will battle at full speed I am sure, but it will be a good excercise in throttle control.
The track is EXTREMELY grippy.....if your cars are set up correctly you will find a LOT of traction and I can see people turning in too soon, expecting the car to slide...and will end up in the inside barriers...there are some areas that have some dust on them, but those will be dealt with this afternoon with a nice coating of Pepsi's finest.... Some areas of the track have bumps, and some holes but we will walk the track and you can learn to avoid those areas.
Please can you make sure that you have:
A CLEAR AREA for the transponder ie, hole in the shell or an unpaited windshield. A SPARE place on your Rx for the transponder to plug into....
This track will not be permanent fixture...so enjoy it over the next few days.....
Remember to bring your manners and a sense of friendly competitiveness....

well thats great news! at least we dont have to resort to using night vision goggles now! hahaha
