i have this TRF415 but dont know if this is good in drifting?

NO!! its not good for drifting so kindly sell it to me for a fair price so i can make it good for drifting! hahahaha! joke only sir!!!

any 4wd kit can do drift. its a matter of tuning it. since its a tamiya trf kit, most of its parts are hop ups and easy to adjust.

imo, this is a very powerful motor indeed, so you can use that to your advantage.. it would really depend on your drifting style.. cool

It's quite powerful. So if you have a steady finger on the throttle, that's a good thing.
But by judging on the trophies you've won. It won't take long before you get the hang of the Poweeerrrrrrrrr

Drag? Aren't you afraid it would put a lot of stress on the chassis?

If I wanted something for drag, i would prefer using a tub chassis. =/

im running a trf but its a shaft and i prefer it like that..
FOW and rear spool and youll be drifting like a pro!
plus some skills ofcours clown

josh is right if you have steady finger you can use that mamba max 7700 kv for driftting but if not you will end up in a spin not slide because the motor is too powerful & most of all you have to change your spur & diff to a alloy material because surely it will damage easily.
