| Hi Guys,
I have installed my new Bravo ESC, it's working fine on the throttle but my servo is acting up. If I release the steering wheel from full turn, the servo will start to make noises and will have a hardtime putting steering to normal posistion. It worked fine on my other esc but starts to do that on my Bravo esc. I am currently using a yeah racing fast servo.. |

| the problem is with the servo sir and not with the esc... power of servo comes from your reciever. receiver power comes from the ecs. i think all ESC's have the same power or current output that gives to the receiver. unless your servo is a power hungry servo that the esc cant give... (make sense to me) hehehehe |

| Yes, that makes sense.. I have a new reciever from Ko Propo as well, a really small one.. I'll try to use a different reciever and lets see if it could feed the servo some additional juice |

| Hey Jet, Check your esc if it has a built in B.E.C. (voltage rgulator) also check your receiver if it has a B.E.C. if you re using a 2.4 ghz receiver it probably has no B.E.C. If none of the two has B.E.C. it will cause a problem like what you have, solution is to get an external B.E.C. or voltage regulator. |

| Jet, I have the MOPED Bravo too, it claims that the BEC issues 5V @ 3amps, so this should not be a problem.
Check where your servo leads go, sometimes they are affected by battery/power cables. |

| Reck, yes. the esc has a built in B.E.C. as per andy's suggestion. Let me check on the reciever as well.
Andy, i'll check the leads when I get home. It is really weird, I even tried to use a lipo because I thought the servo was starving on current. |

| update: I think the problem lies on the reciever, I've tried to use a different ESC and the problem is still there. I think the reciever is not feeding enough current to the servo. Im currently using a KO PROPO reciever and an EX-5 UR radio. If I reduced the speed of the steering to -50 , it wont make any noise but there still a slight stuttering on the servo. I think I need to re-program the radio and play with the values a little bit. I'll bring it this saturday and I hope you guys can check it out for me.. thanks! |
