Attention All Offroaders......

Hello to all

i spoke with a few members a while back about getting an offroad meet going, no rules or regulations apply, just bring whatever offroad kit u have and bash the hell out of it!!!!!

at first we suggested Nad Al Sheba on a friday afternoon.....just to get things rolling....we also thought of having it somewhere in march or maybe even right after Automodex??
open to any suggestions.......i dont get off exams until march 4.......

so how about march 5th??

I want to joinn...But can the TT01ERA handle Nad Al Sheba? What's the track over there like?

...Maybe we could give the Rally Union a kick start over there...

the track at nad al sheba is designed for 1/8 scale buggys and truggys so theres no way you'll get a rally car around the track.....i have seen 1:10 nitro buggys battling to get around....

nad al sheba has very soft sand everywhere, even when wet it wont do for rally.... mad

you would need a decent offroader to cope out there wink

Now I want a DF03. Hmmphh. If only I still had my nitro buggy. How much will a new engine cost me?

DF03 wont cut it out there ...its too small and light....even if you had big brushless power...would be pun on hard pacekd clay though... wink

.21 nitro engines( typical buggy size) range anywhere from 500-600AED up to 2-3K AED depends what you want, what size etc etc

i have a Cen racing 1:16 Mini monster nitro kit im selling it for 250AED you can scrap it bec. some parts is comp with 1:10 truggy & engine of .15 rear exhouse pull start. no electronics installed.

FRS: no time for nitro kits

but about your TT-01 and your dream DF-03........they both wont cut it out there, you would just bog down and bottom out even with a 4WD kit, you need loads of power and clearance in the off-road world.....why not buy a kyosho inferno....they are 1400AED stock and they run like hell.....i should know....i owned one

calling the "big boys" once again....helooooo...you out there???!!!!

a golden opportunty here, plus i want to go against samaj's slayer with pauls slash and see the difference, i hear there was some faulty driving.....hmmm i think i can set things right...........pus i'll give everyone an opportunity to experience the BAJA POWER......

sounds like i'm gonna need some 11.1V batteries for the slash, just to unleash its true potential twisted evil

on 7.4V it was already quicker than the slayer twisted evil

Incidentally, Greg and the nitro boys are collecting cash to do up the Nad Al Sheba track, if you want to contribute, let me know.

I know that if they spend the sort of money they are talking about, it will be a good track , but you will be frowned upon if you use the facilities without contributing....especially if you dont look after it accordingly.

from what i understood, the money is going into the track al lasayli and not nad al sheba....and if they are planning to put money in at nad al sheba it will be wasted (again), as from what i understand that whole area will be gone before the end of the year.....

al laysayli should be a good track when its done, just a damn pity its so far away!!!!
