Update:

Electric ducted fan, Brushless motor, ESC

Assembled

Unfortunately, the ESC doesn't have enough juice for this motor. I tested the EDF using my Yeah Racing 25amp ESC from my TA05v2. wooot! this thing blows like an Industrial Electric Fan even better. I think it blows like 500gms of air pressure.

I manage to find Pico Servos at 35dhs a piece. But I thought its too small for my purpose.

Cost:
EDF = 30dhs
Brushless motor = 140dhs

From office supplies. Most shops have em. Don't buy the ones with paper & clay backing aka "Sturdy board", Because they're heavy and hard to cut.

Alright thanks.

What are you going to do about the motor mount by the way? And the propellor?

I'm still thinking of a way to mount it securely. The plan was originally designed to Pusher prop.

Right now, I'm making new plan for F35 ducted fan from scratch using Google Sketchup.

I'd love to fly this. But I need to get more funds first.

Need to buy Lipo battery, Radio, ESC and Servos.
