| Paul, Reck....which ones have you got?
I have seen those little ones at Eppco stations, and I bought one ....it sucked, huge.
I was thinking of getting a decent one (AED500) to fly around the living room. Might be moving to Mirdiff later in the year, to a bigger place, with a bigger living room...
Have seen some heli's that look ok for about US$110....
Ant recommendations? |

| @ Andy, got those cute ones with 5 in.dia dual rotors, it doesnt say the scale. I was surprised how well theyve improve it from the first ones with a single rotor. @ e1, The sb5 is soon to be released, theyre from Thunder Tiger, quite expensive but you can get a cheaper bike like the older TT @ 1/5th scale. I got the Heli for 65 dhs @ Andy's favorite place, Dragon Mart. |

| andy,
got mine at the dubai motor show....was skeptic at first until i saw the guy flying it... i paid a 100aed for mine but its great....its a small 5inch dual rotor....i'll bring it on saturday to show you.....
one thing i'm impressed with on this one is that it is virtually indistructable!!! _________________ "If you ain't first......you're last" - Ricky Bobby

| Hey Paul, is that the one with the cosmetic lights on the sides? mines got the lights and I 'm thinking if I remove the lights I can extend the runtime coz it will reduce power consumption and it would be lighter. |

| yips its got some LED lights but on the underside...not sure how much extra life you'll get out the battery, I reckon the LEDs only use a tiny portion...with probably 90% of the draw from the motor....
how much flying time are you getting out of a charge? i probaly get around 4-5 min and then 15-20min to charge again.... _________________ "If you ain't first......you're last" - Ricky Bobby
